Mi nombre es Mario Galindo, fundador y coreografo de Ballet Folklórico Xochitl. Hace 18 años decidí fundar este grupo, que con sacrificios, entrega y orgullo he dirigido y sacado adelante durante todo este tiempo. Junto a mi esposa e hijos, hemos recibido grandes satisfacciones y nos enorgullece llevar en alto el nombre de México atravez de nuestros bailes, por medio de los cuales intento transmitir el gusto y amor que siento por mi patria Mexicana. Le ivito a formar parte de nuestro grupo y a conocer mas sobre nuestra herencia mexicana en el baile.

My name is Mario, founder and choreographer. I had a great vision over 18 years ago when I decided to found Ballet Foklorico Xochitl. This art is my passion, I have always been involved in it one way or another. It is with great sacrifice, excitement and pride that I continue to maintain this ballet. My wife and children are a very important part in this project as well. I cherish every opportunity to perform. My members and I give our very best to the audience. I extend an invitation to you to become a member and to learn about the Mexican culture in dance. all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Lourdes ha sido de gran apoyo para su esposo Mario a lo largo de los años; invirtiendo su tiempo en preparacion de vestuario, reparando lo que sea necesario reparar, haciendo accesorios, ayuando a organizar eventos, y usando su propio dinero en el grupo. Lourdes ha sido una parte escencial en la historia de Ballet Folklorico Xochitl. apoyando a su esposo en continuar con su proyecto y a sus hijos que tambien son participantes del grupo. all begins with an idea. It has been an incredible honor to be a part of this organization for two decades, having danced with the group for 20 years and more recently, having the privilege of teaching for the past 8 years.

Dancing folklórico has been a profoundly enriching experience, offering me a unique path to learn and appreciate my Mexican culture. Now, in my role as a teacher, I cherish the opportunity to pass on this rich cultural heritage and knowledge to my students, fostering their own connection to these beautiful traditions.

While navigating the diverse personalities and age groups within our classes can sometimes present challenges, these moments are always overshadowed by the immense joy of seeing my dancers come together and perform with their whole hearts. Witnessing our collective hard work culminate in a beautiful work of art on stage is a truly rewarding experience.

I also want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to my parents for their unwavering support throughout my entire folklórico journey. A special thank you goes to my dad for introducing me to this beautiful art form and for his guidance. I sincerely hope he is proud of how far BFX has come, and of all the wonderful opportunities and cherished memories we have created together as a group over the years.
