My daughter has been dancing with Ballet Folklórico Xochitl for the past four years, and honestly, it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. What started as dance classes turned into a second family for her and for us.
The instructor truly care about the dancers and push them to be their best while teaching them the importance of discipline, respect, teamwork, and pride in our culture. The amount of time and dedication the instructor puts into the group does not go unnoticed.
One of the things we love most is the opportunity to travel and compete in different states. The experiences these girls/boys get are amazing. Watching them work so hard throughout the year and then seeing that hard work pay off by bringing home trophies is something special. The excitement and pride they feel when they take the stage and represent Xochitl is unforgettable.
Over the last four years, I’ve watched my daughter grow not only as a dancer but also as a young woman. She has gained confidence, made lifelong friendships, and created memories that she will carry with her forever.
